Jotunnslayer Hordes of Hel Conan, a 2026 action RPG and hack and slash game from Games Farm and Grindstone, delivers exactly that. You step into the role of Conan the Barbarian, ripped from a tavern brawl and dumped into the frozen wastes of Hel, where the dead do not rest and the living do not last. Your only companions are your sword, your fists, and an unquenchable thirst for vengeance against the jotunn lord who dared disrupt your drinking.
The latest version adds a co-op mode where a second player can join as Conan's ally, the fierce warrior woman Valeria, bringing twin blade combos and shared kill chains. Casual players can enjoy the power fantasy of mowing down hordes, while RPG enthusiasts will appreciate the build variety offered by three distinct skill trees: Berserker (raw damage), Vanir (frost resistance and counter attacks), and Cimmerian (agility and critical strikes). Hack and slash action is punctuated by boss battles against legendary Norse beasts like the wolf Fenrir and the serpent Nidhogg, each requiring pattern recognition and timely dodges. The soundtrack blends heavy metal with Nordic folk instrumentation, swelling during execution moves.
