About The Game

THYSIASTERY is a hardcore roguelike RPG whose gameplay concept revolves around the irreversible destruction of a party and procedurally generated environments. Any mistake is punishable by loss of progress, forcing players to carefully consider every action. The visual design is based on a retro style, where a sparse palette emphasizes the oppressive atmosphere of ruins. In turn-based encounters, exploiting the vulnerabilities of others is crucial otherwise, blind chance will lead to fatal consequences. A system of modifiers is provided to adapt the entry threshold.

A continuous cycle of defeats is intertwined with the exploration of uncharted territories, and the dungeon dwellers encountered can become valuable companions. The plot revolves around bearers of the Mark, trapped in a colossal Labyrinth. The overarching goal of THYSIASTERY is to find a way out of this constantly changing complex. Descending to the lower levels opens access to flooded megacities and buried forests. Studying artifacts sheds light on the nature of the mystical force that has branded the protagonists.
