About The Game

Fartal Error is a survival horror game played in third person, set in an abandoned Mexican asylum and built around the most dangerous sound in gaming: your own stomach. Developed by Weird Potro Studio, it drops you into a nightmarish labyrinth where deranged cannibal cultists hunt by ear, and a single fart at the wrong moment can literally get you killed. The premise sounds like a joke, and the game knows it, but the execution plays the fear straight: dark corridors, hunted footsteps and the slow dread of holding something in while something else hunts you. You explore the asylum, scavenge what keeps you alive and look for a way out, all while managing the growing pressure that your own body keeps adding to the situation. Escape is the goal, and the asylum has no intention of making it simple.

The gameplay mixes sneaking, survival management and panic. Moving quietly is the baseline: the cultists patrol the labyrinth, and running, knocking things over or betraying your position the obvious way all invite company. The problem is that silence costs you, because your guts keep filling and the pressure keeps building, and releasing it in the wrong room is a death sentence. That inner meter becomes the real antagonist, forcing choices between tense hiding and momentary relief, and the game mines both horror and dark comedy from the same mechanic. Supplies found along the way help you last longer or open new paths through the asylum, but exploration always trades safety for progress. Encounters with the cultists rarely end well for the unprepared, so learning their routes and the layout of the maze matters more than bravery. The whole design squeezes classic survival horror into one uncomfortable, very human rule: stay quiet, stay alive, and pray your body cooperates until you find the exit. Few horror games commit to such a silly, uncomfortable idea with this much sincerity.
