About The Game

Ultra Mega Cats immerses players in a co-op roguelike third-person shooter scenario. Characters become Mega Cats, equipped with a set of talents, their task is to escape from captivity, where Rodents and Feathered Lords rule. Gameplay is based on moving around randomly generated rooms, fighting hordes of enemies in skirmishes that test the gamer's reaction speed. The result is determined by agility and use of skills in an environment filled with fast-paced events, while completing tasks alone or with the support of up to two partners.

In the Ultra Mega Cats universe, rodents and feathered forces have established dominance, subjugating felines and turning them into personal killing machines. However, these enslaved creatures awaken their natural predatory instincts to fight for freedom and restore a different order to their reality. Players will need to make effective use of their character's special moves, especially when facing threats such as bomb-wielding hamsters and other technologically enhanced opponents. Battles require quick thinking and precise maneuvering to overcome overwhelming odds.

Gamers can choose from five different Mega Cat archetypes, each with their own playstyle and access to 50 unlockable M.O.D.s to customize their gameplay. This opens up thousands of possible combinations of combat builds, supporting a wide range of combat tactics. Arena clashes, designed for co-op PvE missions for up to three people, take place in procedurally generated biomes that change each session thanks to different Coalitions. The main goal of this project is to free three Ancient Cats from captivity and then defeat the ruling aggressors.
