About The Game

StarVaders combines deck-building mechanics with turn-based battles on the field in an alien invasion setting. The player takes control of a war machine to fight aliens using a set of cards. The game progresses through roguelike-style rounds, which requires adaptation. The goal is to defend Earth through the clever use of cards and the placement of units on the field. The core of the gameplay is to build a deck of skills and perform a series of moves against enemy forces.

Gamers find combinations of cards and try to cope with the growing threats from the invaders over many runs. With hundreds of cards, artifacts and upgrades, each run opens up different strategic possibilities and character development options. The Chrono Token mechanic allows you to undo moves, giving you a chance to correct past actions if the outcome is not satisfactory. After each start, new cards, pilots, as well as stronger opponents and bosses are unlocked, which changes the conditions for future sessions.
