About The Game

Koumajou Densetsu 2 Strangers Requiem is a two-dimensional action adventure game that directly continues the events of the previous part under the banner of Scarlet Symphony. The gameplay is inspired by old-school metroidvanias, including the famous Castlevania. The heroines of the game are taken from the cult title Touhou. The story centers on the brave protagonist Izayoi Sakaya. Her main goal is to find her mistress, who is lost inside a huge Victorian castle. Sakaya is capable of delivering deadly melee attacks, levitating, and accurately throwing deadly daggers. As she progresses, she acquires new abilities that will help her along the way.

The gameplay is hardcore challenging, and the boss battles will challenge even the most experienced players. Like all metroidvanias, as you gain new abilities, new routes and hidden paths open up. The gameplay of Koumajou Densetsu 2: Stranger’s Requiem contains backtracking. Having acquired additional skills, you need to return to previously explored locations to open new rooms or unlock various secrets. You can also change the attack types of the main character at any time or learn several additional jumps.
