Asterix and Obelix Heroes combines deckbuilding and turn-based combat in a unique way. Featuring 24 legendary heroes from the beloved Asterix comic book series, you’ll embark on an original adventure to thwart Caesar’s evil plans. The mechanics are based on improving your deck and making strategic decisions that will ultimately determine your success. Both deck builders and Asterix fans will find something to their liking here. You are given the opportunity to create a deck consisting of 30 cards chosen from 150 unique options. Every card in the deck plays an important role in executing your strategy, whether it’s dealing significant damage with Menhir or healing a hero with one of Getafix’s potions. The key to victory is the ability to adapt to each round, make informed decisions and create unexpected but destructive combinations, for example, combining the notorious enemies Ungigenix and Fulliautomatix.

Adventure immerses you in the world of Asterix and Obelix, as well as the entire village and their friends, thirsty for adventure. From the bard Cacophonix to the loyal Dogmatix and even Queen Cleopatra, the list of characters ready for battle is extensive. As you progress through different regions, you can unlock up to 24 heroes, each with their own unique characteristics and skills. For example, Asterix’s «Born to Rebel» skill prevents the Romans from attacking accurately, and Dogmatixs Mark Territory skill terrifies opponents and stuns animals. Choosing the right hero for each encounter becomes a decisive factor for success.

The main plot revolves around the search for Toutatis' treasure as Caesar seeks to finally conquer Gaul. Your task is to find the treasure before Caesar, and this journey will be filled with difficulties, choices and dangers. Throughout the game you will go through six famous regions, encounter Roman legions, pirates, Egyptians, Vikings and even wild animals. To win, you need to use your cards wisely to navigate treacherous paths and avoid traps set by the Romans.
