Pathogenic is a dual-stick 2D cellular shooter that transports genre fans inside a living organism as an aggressive virus. Instead of traditional equipment collection, the protagonist must physically modify their own structure by absorbing biological elements from defeated opponents. Constant mutation and fusion of various parts allows for the construction of unique chains of chemical reactions directly within the membrane. Progress through procedurally generated internal organs is accompanied by fierce resistance from the host's defense systems.
